A female figure in a clinging red dress and a red turban sits on a wooden chair in front of a table with a glass of wine in one hand while with the other she pours the last drops from a bottle. As in other paintings, it is as though the viewer was a guest about to drink with her. Also here, the atmosphere is devoid of the superfluous. Only the essential elements remain: the subject, the gesture and the few objects against a dark background enhancing the intense color of the dress and headdress and the expression of the face.
